How the exam works

A Written Exam, Then a Physical Test

Bihar Police Constable recruitment is run by the Central Selection Board of Constable, the CSBC. It has a written exam and then a physical test. You must pass both.

In the last full recruitment (Advt. No. 01/2025), the written exam was only qualifying. A candidate needed 30% to be called for the physical test. The merit list was made from the physical test marks alone.

We teach the written exam in the classroom. For the physical test, we give you the standards and a training plan. We do not have a training ground. You train on your own or at a local ground.

The physical test

Start Running When You Start Studying

The physical test carries all 100 merit marks, and fitness takes months to build. Do not wait for the written result to begin.

01

Know the standards

We give you the running, shot put and high jump standards in writing, with the marks for each level.

02

Follow a training plan

We give you a weekly plan to follow. You train on your own or at a local ground, because we do not have a training ground.

03

Time yourself

Time your run every week and write it down. In the last recruitment, a man needed under 5 minutes for 1.6 km to get the full 50 marks.

04

Keep both going

Study and train side by side until the exam. Each event must be passed on its own, so practise all three.

Questions Candidates Ask About Bihar Police Coaching

Which is the best Bihar Police coaching in Bettiah?

We do not call ourselves the best, because nobody can check that. Compare coaching centres on things you can see. Are mock tests timed and on OMR sheets? Are the papers checked and discussed? Is there a Hindi medium batch? Do they say clearly what they offer for the physical test? Knox Learning Academy teaches the written exam and gives a training plan for the physical test. We do not have a training ground. Sit in a free demo class before you decide.

What is the Bihar Police Constable exam pattern?

In the last full recruitment (Advt. No. 01/2025), the written exam had 100 objective questions for 100 marks in 2 hours. It was qualifying only, and 30% was needed to pass. The merit list came from the physical test: running for 50 marks, shot put for 25 and high jump for 25. A new notice can change this, so check csbc.bihar.gov.in.

Do you help with the Bihar Police physical test?

We give you the standards and a weekly training schedule, and we explain how each event is marked. We do not have a training ground. Candidates train on their own or at a local ground.

Who can apply for Bihar Police Constable?

In the last recruitment, a candidate needed to have passed Class 12 (Intermediate) or an equivalent exam. There are also age limits and standards for height, chest and weight. Each CSBC notice sets these, so read the notice before you apply.

Is Bihar Police coaching given in Hindi medium?

Yes. The batch runs in Hindi medium and in English medium. Maths, science, social science and general knowledge are explained in Hindi. English is taught as its own section.

Do you also prepare for Bihar Police Sub-Inspector (Daroga)?

Yes. Daroga preparation is part of our government exam programme. It covers Prelims, the two Mains papers, and guidance for the physical test. Daroga is a separate exam for graduates, held by the BPSSC. Call 92881 10034 to check which batch is open.

Can I prepare for SSC GD or Railway along with Bihar Police?

Yes, and we recommend it. All three ask maths and general knowledge. SSC GD and Railway also ask reasoning. Preparing for more than one gives you more chances in a year.

Where is Knox Learning Academy located?

We are in Bettiah, West Champaran, Bihar. Students come to our classes from Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Ramnagar, Chanpatia and nearby parts of West Champaran. Call 92881 10034 for directions or to book a campus visit.

Do you teach in Hindi or English?

It depends on the programme. Class 6 to 10 and CBSE Class 11 and 12 are taught in English. Bihar Board I.Sc. (Class 11 and 12) has a Hindi medium batch and an English medium batch. The entrance and government-exam batches run as the page for each one says. You get study material in the medium you enrol in.

Is there a scholarship or fee concession available?

Yes. Any applicant can sit our scholarship test. It gives fee waivers on merit. We also give concessions to siblings and to students from economically weaker families. Talk to the admissions desk about your case.

Can I attend a demo class before enrolling?

Yes. You can book a free demo class for any programme. You sit in a normal class with the batch you would join. Call 92881 10034 to reserve a seat.
