Biology and Physics

Why Biology and Physics need different plans

Biology carries 360 of the 720 marks in NEET, and most Biology questions follow the NCERT books. A student who knows NCERT well can answer this section quickly. So we cover NCERT Biology line by line and test it the same day.

Physics has 45 questions, and each wrong answer costs 1 mark. Many medical students have had little practice with numericals. So Physics gets a separate, slower class that starts from the basics.

Common mistakes

Five common NEET mistakes and what we do about them

We see these five mistakes often. Each one has a matching step in our course.

Common mistake

  • Reading thick reference books for Biology and skipping NCERT
  • Leaving Physics for later because it feels hard
  • Attempting every question and losing marks to negative marking
  • Practising chapter by chapter without sitting a full 3-hour paper
  • Learning the Biology terms in only one language

What we do

  • NCERT Biology covered line by line and tested the same day
  • A separate Physics hour twice a week, starting from the basics
  • Practice in every mock test on when to answer and when to leave
  • Full-length papers with exam timing and OMR sheets, from the revision phase onward
  • Biology terms taught in Hindi and English, because the Hindi paper prints both

Syllabus

What We Teach in NEET

The NEET syllabus covers Class 11 and Class 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Biology is taught as two subjects, Botany and Zoology.

Biology: Botany

  • Diversity in the living world, plant kingdom, morphology and anatomy
  • Cell structure and function, cell cycle, biomolecules
  • Plant physiology: photosynthesis, respiration, plant growth and development
  • Genetics, molecular basis of inheritance, ecology and environment

Biology: Zoology

  • Animal kingdom, structural organisation in animals
  • Human physiology: breathing, circulation, excretion, locomotion, neural and chemical control
  • Human reproduction, reproductive health, evolution
  • Human health and disease, biotechnology and its applications

Chemistry

  • Physical: mole concept, thermodynamics, equilibrium, solutions, electrochemistry, kinetics
  • Inorganic: periodic table, bonding, p-block, d- and f-block, coordination compounds
  • Organic: GOC, hydrocarbons, haloalkanes, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones, amines, biomolecules
  • Revision from NCERT, because NEET Chemistry stays close to the textbook

Physics

  • Mechanics: kinematics, laws of motion, work energy power, rotation, gravitation
  • Thermodynamics, kinetic theory, oscillations and waves
  • Electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, EMI and AC
  • Optics, dual nature, atoms and nuclei, semiconductor electronics

This is the NEET UG 2026 pattern from the NTA bulletin. All 180 questions are compulsory and the paper is 3 hours long. A right answer gives 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1 mark. The optional Section B questions and the extra 20 minutes of earlier years are no longer there. The 2026 exam was written with a pen on an OMR sheet. The government has said NEET UG will be a computer-based test from 2027. NTA had not published the 2027 bulletin when we checked in October 2026. Check neet.nta.nic.in for your exam year.

Aims

What the NEET Course Works Towards

  • A NEET score that is competitive in government medical counselling
  • NCERT Biology known well enough to answer questions on small details
  • Physics turned from the weakest section into one that adds marks
  • A Class 12 board result that meets the NEET eligibility marks

Advice

Three things we tell every NEET student

NCERT Biology

Read every line of NCERT Biology, with the diagrams and tables. Many NEET questions come from a single sentence in the book. Finish NCERT before you open a reference book.

Physics

Physics has 45 of the 180 questions. It does not have to be your best subject, but you cannot skip it. Start from the basics and solve numericals regularly.

Negative marking

A right answer gives 4 marks and a wrong answer takes away 1. If you cannot rule out any option, leave the question. Practise this in every mock test.

NEET questions

Questions Students Ask About NEET Coaching

Is NEET coaching available in Hindi medium?

Yes. NEET UG is held in 13 languages, and Hindi is one of them. A student who chooses Hindi gets a question paper printed in both Hindi and English. We run full Hindi medium batches, with Hindi study material and test papers. We teach the Biology terms in both languages.

Do you take dropper batches for NEET?

Yes. We run a separate one-year batch for students who are repeating NEET. It is planned differently from the Class 12 batch. First we find out why the last attempt fell short. The study plan then gives most time to those weak areas.

Where is Knox Learning Academy located?

We are in Bettiah, West Champaran, Bihar. Students come to our classes from Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Ramnagar, Chanpatia and nearby parts of West Champaran. Call 92881 10034 for directions or to book a campus visit.

Is there a scholarship or fee concession available?

Yes. Any applicant can sit our scholarship test. It gives fee waivers on merit. We also give concessions to siblings and to students from economically weaker families. Talk to the admissions desk about your case.

I am weak in Physics. Can I still prepare for NEET?

Yes. Many medical students find Physics hard. It has 45 of the 180 questions, so you cannot leave it out. It does not need to be your strongest subject. Our Physics class starts slowly and takes the chapters that score well first.

Will NEET 2027 be held on a computer?

The Union Education Minister has said NEET UG will move to a computer-based test from 2027. The 2026 exam was on an OMR sheet. NTA had not published the 2027 bulletin when we checked in October 2026, so details such as the number of shifts are not final. Check neet.nta.nic.in before you apply.

Do you teach in Hindi or English?

It depends on the programme. Class 6 to 10 and CBSE Class 11 and 12 are taught in English. Bihar Board I.Sc. (Class 11 and 12) has a Hindi medium batch and an English medium batch. The entrance and government-exam batches run as the page for each one says. You get study material in the medium you enrol in.

Can I attend a demo class before enrolling?

Yes. You can book a free demo class for any programme. You sit in a normal class with the batch you would join. Call 92881 10034 to reserve a seat.
