UPSC Civil Services Coaching
in Bettiah
Mains is a written exam, so you write answers every week and a teacher marks them by hand. Prelims, Mains and Interview are all taught here in Bettiah.

How we teach
Why we give so much time to answer writing
Most UPSC aspirants read the same standard books. Mains then asks you to answer in 150 or 250 words, in a fixed time. Many students know the material but cannot put it on paper in that time.
Writing to a word limit is a skill. It improves with practice and correction. So you write Mains-style answers every week, and a teacher marks them by hand. Content classes cover the full syllabus alongside.
Course plan
How the UPSC course runs, month by month
The syllabus is large, so we divide the course into five stages. You read, write, get corrected and revise in each one.
List the syllabus and start writing
We go through the full GS syllabus paper by paper, so you know what is ahead. Answer writing begins in the first month. Early answers are weak, and the corrections show you what to fix.
The static subjects
Polity, modern history, geography, economy, environment and science, taught in depth. We link the day’s newspaper to the topic in class, so you study current affairs with the subject.
Prelims practice
Section tests and full papers for GS and CSAT. You also practise ruling out wrong options quickly, which is a skill the objective paper needs.
Mains practice
You write answers every week. We mark them by hand and write back on structure, content and timing. You also practise the essay under exam timing and get guidance on your optional subject.
Interview and DAF
If you reach the interview, we help you fill the Detailed Application Form and run mock interviews. These include questions on Bihar and your home district, which the board often asks.

FAQ
Questions students ask about UPSC coaching
Can I prepare for UPSC from Bettiah, or do I need to move to Delhi?
You can prepare from here. Delhi offers two things: a good test series, and many other aspirants around you. We run a test series here. You will have fewer aspirants around you in Bettiah, and some students find that harder for motivation. Weekly marked answers and a monthly mentor review help with that.
Is Hindi medium a disadvantage in UPSC?
You can write the exam in Hindi, and Hindi medium candidates are selected every year. The main difficulty is study material, because many good sources are written first in English. We give you Hindi material and a reading list. We also build your English reading, so you can use English sources too.
When should I start preparing?
You need a degree, and you must be at least 21 years old. In the 2026 notice, the upper age for general candidates was 32, with six attempts. Other categories get more. It helps to start in your final year of college. A full 12 to 18 months of preparation before your first attempt is better than a rushed six months.
