Aspirants reading current affairs with their notes

How to read the news

Link each news item to the syllabus

Many candidates read the news every day and still lose marks in general studies. News turns into marks when each item is filed under the part of the static syllabus it belongs to. A policy story goes under polity, a rate decision under economy, a launch under science and technology.

These digests are written for that use. Each item is two or three lines long, so a digest can be read in one sitting. Multiple-choice questions at the end let you test what you read. Then file each item under its syllabus heading in your own notes.

How to use them

Read once, revise twice

We ask our own BPSC and UPSC batches to follow this routine.

01

Read each digest in one sitting

Read it in one sitting, start to finish, while the events are still recent.

02

Mark what you could not answer

If you could not write 60 words on an item, add it to your own notes under its syllabus heading.

03

Revise before every test

Before a test, go back over the items you marked.

Questions about the current affairs PDFs

Are these current affairs PDFs free?

Yes. There is no cost and no enrolment. The first time you open a digest, we ask for your name and phone number. These are the same digests our own UPSC, BPSC and SSC batches get. We publish them so that a student who cannot afford coaching can still read them.

Which exams are these written for?

They cover the general studies portion shared by UPSC, BPSC, SSC, Banking and Railway exams. The digest published so far is written in Hindi, with key terms also given in English. BPSC also asks about Bihar, so add Bihar news to your own notes.

Do I need to be a Knox student to use these?

No. Download them, print them, and share them with your study group. If you later want your answer writing checked by a teacher, call 92881 10034.

How often is a digest published?

We do not publish on a fixed day yet. The list on this page shows every digest published so far, with its date. Our enrolled batches get current affairs in class. Call 92881 10034 to ask for the latest one.

Can I print them?

Yes. Every digest has a print button. There is also a download button, so you can save the PDF and print it later or read it offline.
