The order of tests

Why the tests come in stages

The order of the tests matters as much as the questions. A full-length paper given to a student who has covered 40% of the syllabus gives a low score and teaches little. A student who writes only topic tests until the exam has never put the full syllabus together against the clock.

So the test series runs in four stages. Topic tests come while the syllabus is being taught. Part-syllabus tests come as sections finish. Full papers come in the revision phase, and a pre-board or grand test closes the series.

How to join

Three ways to take the test series

Call the admissions desk for the current schedule and fee for your exam. Both depend on the programme and on how much of the session is left.

Included with coaching

For every enrolled Knox student, at no extra cost.

  • All three test stages across the session
  • Batch ranking on every full-length paper
  • Post-test discussion sessions
  • A breakdown of mistakes and follow-up from the teacher

Final-stretch package

For students joining in the last months before the exam.

  • Full-length papers only, weekly
  • Exam timing, an invigilator, OMR where applicable
  • Per-question breakdown of mistakes
  • Practice in timing and question order for exam day

Fees and schedules depend on the programme and are confirmed at the admissions desk. Call 92881 10034 and we will tell you what is possible in the time you have left.

Week 2 Topic testSame format, next set of chapters. Marks returned with written feedback. 45 mins
Week 3 Topic testPlus a revision sheet on the previous two tests, to check what the student still remembers. 45 mins
Week 4 Part-syllabus testMain sessionEverything completed so far, in one paper. Students learn to handle several chapters in one sitting. 1.5 – 2 hrs
Monthly Performance reviewThe teacher goes through the month’s papers with the student, and the report goes home. Scheduled
4 papersIn a normal month Written feedbackOn every paper, with the score Join aloneOpen to students without full coaching

What we work towards

What the test series is for

  • A wrong idea caught within a week, well before the pre-board
  • Chapters tested again weeks after they were taught
  • Longer and harder tests as the student becomes ready for them
  • Several full-length papers written before the exam

Questions about the test series

Can I join the test series without joining full coaching?

Yes. Students who study at another coaching or by themselves can enrol in the test series alone. Call 92881 10034 for the current fee and the schedule for your exam.

Where is Knox Learning Academy located?

We are in Bettiah, West Champaran, Bihar. Students come to our classes from Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Ramnagar, Chanpatia and nearby parts of West Champaran. Call 92881 10034 for directions or to book a campus visit.

Is there a scholarship or fee concession available?

Yes. Any applicant can sit our scholarship test. It gives fee waivers on merit. We also give concessions to siblings and to students from economically weaker families. Talk to the admissions desk about your case.

What if I miss a scheduled test?

You can write it in a makeup slot. Your score will not carry a batch rank, because the batch has already written the paper. We keep the papers, so a missed test can still be written late.

Do you teach in Hindi or English?

It depends on the programme. Class 6 to 10 and CBSE Class 11 and 12 are taught in English. Bihar Board I.Sc. (Class 11 and 12) has a Hindi medium batch and an English medium batch. The entrance and government-exam batches run as the page for each one says. You get study material in the medium you enrol in.

Can I attend a demo class before enrolling?

Yes. You can book a free demo class for any programme. You sit in a normal class with the batch you would join. Call 92881 10034 to reserve a seat.

Studying elsewhere and want to know your rank?

The standalone test series gives you the same papers, the same marking and the same batch ranking as our enrolled students. Call for the schedule for your exam.
