English Coaching
in Bettiah

We explain each grammar rule with examples, then students use it in writing. They read English every week, and their written work is corrected.

Why English feels hard

English Improves With Weekly Reading and Writing

Most students in West Champaran think in Hindi. In school, English is often taught as a list of rules to remember. The student passes the test and still cannot write a correct sentence.

We explain each rule with examples, so the student understands it. Then the student uses it in sentences, in a short paragraph and in a letter. Written work is corrected, and the same mistake is checked again later.

Reading matters as much as grammar. A student who reads a little English every week learns new words from the reading itself.

  • Answers to the reader are memorised from a guide
  • Written work is rarely corrected
  • Word lists are learnt and then forgotten

What we do at Knox

FAQ

Questions Parents Ask About English Coaching

Which is the best English coaching in Bettiah?

Each family should decide that for itself. Check any coaching on things you can see. Is grammar explained in a language your child understands? Is written work corrected? Is there reading in class, or only rules? Can you sit in a class first? At Knox the answer to each is yes. Call 92881 10034 to book a free demo class.

Can a Hindi medium student improve in English?

Yes. English improves slowly, through reading and written practice every week over the year. In our SSC, Banking and Railway batches, English is its own class in the Hindi medium batch too. Our Class 6 to 10 batches follow CBSE and are taught in English.

Do you teach English for Class 11 and 12?

Please call the admissions desk on 92881 10034 and ask. They can tell you which batches are open for your class and board.

Do you teach in Hindi or English?

It depends on the programme. Class 6 to 10 and CBSE Class 11 and 12 are taught in English. Bihar Board I.Sc. (Class 11 and 12) has a Hindi medium batch and an English medium batch. The entrance and government-exam batches run as the page for each one says. You get study material in the medium you enrol in.

Can I attend a demo class before enrolling?

Yes. You can book a free demo class for any programme. You sit in a normal class with the batch you would join. Call 92881 10034 to reserve a seat.

Do you run spoken English classes?

We do not run a separate spoken English course. Our career guidance and personality development classes work on confidence, speaking and interviews. For school and exam English, this page describes what we teach.

Do you teach English for SSC and Banking exams?

Yes. In our SSC, Banking and Railway batches, English is taught as its own class, in the Hindi medium batch too. SSC CGL, CHSL and MTS and the IBPS PO and Clerk exams all have an English section. RRB NTPC and Group D do not.
