Why We Read NCERT Line by Line
Biology has more to read than physics or chemistry. Students often read a chapter once and feel they know it. Then they lose marks on small details, such as a term or a label on a diagram.
So we go slowly and carefully. Each chapter is read line by line in class. Diagrams are drawn by hand and labelled. Then the chapter is tested in writing, and tested again some weeks later.
For the board exam, we also practise writing answers. Examiners give marks for a neat labelled diagram and the correct terms.

Biology, class by class
Class 9 and 10 follow the NCERT books for CBSE. In Class 11 and 12 we teach CBSE and the Bihar Board I.Sc. syllabus. In CBSE Class 11 and 12, the biology theory paper is 70 marks and the practical is 30. The same chapters are taken up to NEET level.

Read line by line
The NCERT chapter is read in class. The teacher stops at each term and explains it.
Draw the diagrams
Every important diagram is drawn by hand and labelled. Drawing a diagram helps you remember it.
Test it in writing
A written test is held that week. It has objective questions and board-style long answers.
Test it again later
The chapter comes back in later tests. A student meets it several times before the exam.

Do you teach biology for NEET in Bettiah?

Is NCERT enough for NEET biology?
NCERT is the base for NEET biology, and we read all of it in class. Reading alone is not enough. You must also solve many objective questions on each chapter. We do both in class.
Is biology taught in Hindi medium?
In Bihar Board I.Sc. (Class 11 and 12), yes. It has Hindi and English medium batches, and scientific terms are taught in Hindi and English together. Class 9 and 10 and CBSE Class 11 and 12 are taught in English. NEET is offered in 13 languages, and Hindi is one of them.
Do you teach biology for the Bihar Board Class 12 exam?
Yes, in our Bihar Board I.Sc. programme. Students practise objective questions and long answers in their own medium. Labelled diagrams and the board answer format are practised in writing.

Do you teach in Hindi or English?
It depends on the programme. Class 6 to 10 and CBSE Class 11 and 12 are taught in English. Bihar Board I.Sc. (Class 11 and 12) has a Hindi medium batch and an English medium batch. The entrance and government-exam batches run as the page for each one says. You get study material in the medium you enrol in.
Is there a scholarship or fee concession available?
Yes. Any applicant can sit our scholarship test. It gives fee waivers on merit. We also give concessions to siblings and to students from economically weaker families. Talk to the admissions desk about your case.
