One Commission, Many Exams
The Staff Selection Commission, the SSC, recruits staff for central government offices and forces. It holds a different exam for each level of education.
Most SSC exams test the same four things: reasoning, general awareness, maths and English. So a student who prepares for one is partly ready for the others.
We last checked this page in October 2026. Exam rules can change. Read the official notice on ssc.gov.in before you apply.
